I have been teaching electric guitar, classic Guitar, early plucked instruments and band both privately and in many music schools in Switzerland: Musikschule Oberdorf, Musikschule Luterbach and Musikschule BeLoSe (Bellach, Lommiswil and Selzach) among others.
I am currently teaching electric guitar and band at the Musikschule der Musik Akademie Basel in Riehen.

Many stiles and directions are possible, according to your skills' level and wishes. I usually don't use a fixed method but adjust it to my student and his goals. It is very important to determine which music style is more appealing to you (pop/rock, classic) and which are your favorite songs, pieces you would love to play.
Lessons can be held in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.

Born in Italy, Mirko Arnone studied classical guitar and music theory at the National Music Conservatoire A. Scarlatti in Palermo (Italy) prior to completing his studies in lute and related early plucked instruments in Germany at the Staatliche Musikhochschule für Musik Trossingen under Rolf Lislevand where he qualified in 2005 with full marks.
While studying in Trossingen, Mirko learned and developed fine music techniques and repertoire with the lute (Renaissance and Baroque) as well as theorbo, Baroque guitar, and continuo. He also performed regularly during these formative years.
In addition, Mirko has always kept a parallel interest in modern music and has passionately played the electric guitar since his teenage years. This interest has further developed leading to an activity as arranger and composer in modern music productions. In 2009 he studied and improved his skills at the Musicians' Institute in Hollywood (CA).
He has been active as a teacher since he was still a student both privately and in various Institutions.
In Switzerland he has been teaching adults and kids for the Klubschule Migros Basel, Allgemeine Musikschule Oberwallis, Musikschule Oberdorf (SO), Musikschule Luterbach (SO), Musikschule BeLoSe (SO), International Community Music School (Basel), Musikschule Dornach, Musikschule Riehen (Musikakademie Basel).
Mirko lives in Basel (Switzerland) since 2004. His fervent and enthusiastic music activity has sustained continuous performances in a variety of countries both as a solo and a continuo player.
